(b1915-d1992) was the first Bass player super star. He could do it all write songs, sing & play bass. Working out of Chess Studios Dixon worked extensively with Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. His most noted works include Little Red Rooster and Hoochie Coochie Man.
